I decided to change the colours of a very simple, apple and banana. I checked on the colour wheel, and was shown that classically, blue and green are colours which compliment each other. I originally chose the red apple and yellow banana, because these colours also work well together.

This was a really quick effort in photoshop, and is not a tool I have ever used before...But given more time and a larger project, I am sure I could do a better job!
